Big Projects Ahead For Our Bouldering Gym!

In case you missed it! We’ve signed a lease! The Homegrown Lumber facility off Rt. 302 in Conway is the future home of the MWV Climbers Co-op Bouldering Gym

We can’t do this alone.

We are looking for volunteers with the following skillsets to make this gym a reality:

  • Non-profit administrators with experience in fundraising and organizing volunteers
  • Communications and marketing professionals with graphic design, social media, web, and email marketing
  • Engineering, construction of all sorts, and general labor

Join our Volunteer List!

Don’t have time to help out in person?

We will need to keep our finances up to pay for all this work and materials until we can generate operational revenue. Please consider making a contribution to keep us afloat during the build-out.

Make a tax-deductible donation!

Here’s the recap from our April board meeting:

  • The board was joined by several community members for some detailed Q&A about building plans and fundraising. Topics included kilter/ tension boards, business model sustainability, existing physical/ financial assets, and fundraising goals. See the full meeting notes for all the exciting details!
  • Alexis Stefano joined as our new Secretary of the board
  • We are researching options for quotes for both premise liability and builders risk insurance during the build-out phase.
  • In the coming months we will be offering open house sessions for members of the co-op to visit the new space.
