JANUARY UPDATE FROM THE CO-OP!
The Board of Directors met January 14, and here are the highlights (full meeting minutes can be found here):
- We welcomed new Board members Matt Cavallaro and Zoe Eisenberg to their first meeting!
- We’re reviewing and getting ready to sign a lease on a property in Conway! Fingers crossed the lease will be signed very soon and then we’ll move onto building-out our gym. We’ve already got a lot of used gym equipment in storage at the same property: pads, wall panels, holds, and more.
- We’re going to double down our effort to recruit volunteers. Community support and volunteerism will be key to making this project work and to keep gym membership costs down. Sign up here to volunteer!
- Venmo will soon be an option for Co-op donations.
Our next regular monthly Board of Directors meeting will be Feb 11. Meetings take place at 6:30pm upstairs at IME. Public welcome!
