We’ve signed a lease! The Homegrown Lumber facility off Rt. 302 in Conway is the future home of the
MWV Climbers Co-op Bouldering Gym
Here’s the recap from our May board meeting:
- Juliette Reynolds officially joined as Treasurer of the board!
- Quotes for premise liability insurance have been acquired and we’ll be signing on for a 12-month policy — an important step to getting the build out started
- The build out committee has another meeting scheduled with the architect for the next round of drawing revisions and our change-of-use permit application is in progress
- The fundraising committee will be kicking off this month with a meeting to research short and long term funding opportunities and compile a library of existing language and resources
- Plans for summer community outreach through Climber Coffee and other engagement opportunities are in the works

New Hampshire’s biggest day of giving is coming!
NH Gives kicks off June 9 at 5 PM and runs through June 10 at 5 PM. For 24 hours, Granite Staters come together to support nonprofits across the state. During this time your gift to the climbing co-op can make an extra impact — especially meaningful while we face increased operating costs to build out the gym. Save the date and join us! All donations are tax-deductible.
